Music in the Morning – Bernadette Robinson: The Songs of Judy Garland

Mon 19 Aug

Bernadette Robinson’s performances of Songs for Nobodies have enamoured listeners for over a decade, as she celebrates the five iconic singers of the 20th century that had enchanted and thrilled Australian audiences for so many years: Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday and Maria Callas.

From London’s Ambassadors Theatre and the West End, to the Arts Centre Melbourne and Sydney Opera House, her beautiful tribute to these legendary women has been adored by Australian and international audiences alike.

Now, Bernadette performs a special concert featuring one of those iconic characters in The Songs of Judy Garland.

In this performance, Bernadette exquisitely captures the essence of Judy Garland performing her classic tunes and sharing hilarious and heart-breaking anecdotes from the extraordinary life of this legendary artist.

Songs include ‘Get Happy’, ‘The Man that Got Away’, ‘The Trolley Song’, ‘Come Rain or Come Shine’, ‘When You’re Smiling’, ‘Over the Rainbow’ and more!
