The BlueScope WIN Wollongong Eisteddfod returns in 2024. It is the Illawarra’s premier dance event and is proudly celebrating 130 years of operation, beginning way back in 1894. Often referred to by locals just as “the Eisteddfod” it is also the second oldest in Australia. 

This Eisteddfod is; 

• held in high regard in performing arts arenas, 

• much sought after for the high level of competition, 

• an opportunity for dancers to perform in a high class Wollongong venue and 

• one where performers deserve an audience. 

This year the event commences on Saturday July 6th and for one day only you’ll be able to see many fabulous troupes performing in the IMB Theatre. This is followed by a week of solo performances in the IMB theatre from July 9th  through to July 13th. On the final night of solos, three coveted dance scholarships will be decided and there will also be a number of guest performers appearing. These acts are made up of winners from this year’s speech, music and vocals sections and this is definitely a session not to be missed. 

Tickets are not required for all solo dance sessions.
