Merrigong Theatre Company is proud to be part of this year’s AusArt Day on Thursday 23 October, a national day of giving dedicated to strengthening the arts across Australia.

AusArt Day is an initiative by Creative Australia that aims to unite arts organisations, artists, and audiences from across the country to celebrate the impact of creativity and community connection through the arts. The campaign invites Australians everywhere to give back to the cultural organisations that inspire, challenge, and bring people together.

“Being part of AusArt Day is an opportunity to remind our community just how vital the arts are, and how every contribution, big or small, helps creativity flourish in our region.”

As a not-for-profit organisation, Merrigong relies on the generosity of its supporters to continue creating world-class theatre and nurturing local artists. Donations on AusArt Day will go directly towards supporting new work by local artists, community engagement programs, and initiatives that make theatre accessible to everyone.
