Music in the Morning – We Remember – 80 Years Honouring the ANZACs & Vietnam Vets

Honouring the ANZACs and Vietnam veterans, this special event marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II

Led by narrator Christopher McKenna, starring tenor Roy Best, international soprano Alison Jones and accompanied by concert pianist William Schmidt, experience hit songs, heartfelt stories, and delightful laughter.  

With captivating images on the big screen, journey through the music of the 1940s to the 1960s, with classic hits from The Andrews Sisters, Vera Lynn, Bob Dylan, John Denver, Tom Jones, and more!

This production and the use of the word ANZAC are fully sanctioned by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Canberra, and is dedicated to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

What is Music in the Morning?

Music in the Morning is a series that fills the historic Wollongong Town Hall with delightful daytime concerts.

Don’t forget the free morning tea that is served too! Meet your friends before the show for a cuppa, piece of cake and a chat – then sit back and relax as you enjoy a range of musical classics. You won’t be disappointed!

Wheelchair access, mobility assistance and induction hearing loop compatible with T-switch hearing aids are available.
