Made From Scratch – September is packed with talented artists! Made From Scratch is a multi-artform performance night offering artists space and support to test new ideas in front of a live audience.

The opportunity is open to independent artist and collectives working across theatre, dance, video/digital art, interdisciplinary performance, stand-up, poetry, music, cabaret and circus.

Line-up

The Governess returns from a very long sabbatical to MC September’s Made from Scratch…has time and age made her any wiser? Probably not. Alter ego of director, performer, Anne-Louise Rentell, The Governess has taught lessons in Fringe Festivals, cabarets and art galleries since time immemorial.

AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre Senior company Artist, Tara Gilmour presents a collage of excerpts from three premiere pieces curated for AUSTI.’s 2024 season – uNCOILEd eXposed.

The Hoop Babes present a brand-new routine! Filled with all their juiciest tricks, mesmerising moves and wacky shapes, this is a double act you don’t want to miss. This show will include electrifying LED hula hoops, impressive balancing acts, acrobatic antics, and sassy, synced up choreography.

Jess Claire Hill is a soloist from Wollongong/ Dharawal Country. Inspired by artists like Julia Jacklin and Lennon Stella, her relaxed folk style brushed with a tinge of country invites you to sit back and bask in the journey. Jess will perform three original songs on community and solidarity of life’s struggles.
