Elana Stone | Lisa Caruso

Fri 13 Nov

Compelling, powerful and enchanting: a double header from two unique artists.

Powerhouse musician and genre shape-shifter Elana Stone has collaborated with the likes of Passenger, Washington, Donny Benet, Urthboy, Hermitude, Tripod, Josh Pyke and Ngaiire among many others. Her unique and enchanting live performances have served to make her one of Australia’s most sought-after vocalists. Elana has spent the last six years touring with her ARIA-award winning  four-part lady folk band All Our Exes Live in Texas to sell-out crowds around Australia and internationally. Her most recent solo single was released in September to rave reviews. Joined by her long-term band, this will be her final show for a while, ahead of a new addition to the family!

Unafraid to tell it like it is, Sydney artist Lisa Caruso has gone from strength to strength as an independent musician, earning her spot as a finalist at the 2019 Australian Women in Music Awards. Known for her unique vocal sound, arrangements are nostalgic to 90’s indie and 60’s pop eras and are often described as fitting neatly on a David Lynch soundtrack. Sometimes broody and sometimes straight out firing, Caruso’s songs explore strength through vulnerability and empowerment gained through resilience.

Produced by guitarist Benjamin Fletcher (Sarah Blasko, Marina and the Diamonds), Lisa Caruso’s debut ten track album is one that holds as much passion and guts as it does luminosity and romance; giving us permission to feel whatever it is we need, with a supported kick in the pants to keep going. Joining Lisa on the night will be Ben, making sounds direct from the record.

A note about seating: Online tickets to this event are sold in groups of two only and groups of more than two will be seated in pairs.
