Bushfire Benefit – Symphony & Cocktails

29 Feb - 1 Mar

Rachmaninov in Red Square.

Gather your friends and join the city’s social set for a glamorous soirée to support a great cause.

Be captivated by the sound of a 70-piece symphony orchestra conducted by Jennifer Condon, with piano soloist Ambre Hammond, as they perform a thrilling ode to celebrated Russian composer, Sergei Rachmaninov.

Wollongong-born musician Jennifer Condon, based in Germany for more than a decade, now returns to conduct in her hometown for the first time. Ambre Hammond, a scintillating concert pianist, is now almost as well-known as a composer, radio-presenter, motivational speaker and philanthropist.

And to add a touch of Russian opulence to the evening, guests will be able to sip on bespoke cocktails by Wollongong vodka connoisseurs Red Square.

Taking place over one weekend only, this event is a first for Wollongong and is not to be missed. All profits from the concerts will be directly donated to the Mayoral Bushfire Relief Funds in Wollondilly Shire Council, Wingecarribee Shire Council and Shoalhaven City Council.
