Inspired by William Golding's Lord Of The Flies, THE YARD breathes new life into this classic by way of the Australian school yard. Taut with tension, humour and extraordinary performances, THE YARD fuses breakdance with locking, shuffling, popping, tutting, krumping, and jerking; forms of dance found on the streets and school yards of Western Sydney.
In addition to the performance, Shaun Parker and Company will be offering an exciting movement workshop to interested students (maximum of 60 participants). Schools wishing to book can contact Merrigong's Education Coordinator, Jennifer O'Sullivan on 4224 5903 or email josullivan@merrigong.com.au
