As part of our commitment to develop professional theatre practice in the Illawarra, Merrigong Theatre Company runs regular workshops and masterclasses for professional and emerging practitioners, workshops for schools and Creativity Camps for children during the school holidays.
In 2016, Merrigong hosted a comedy workshop for young budding comedians in our community. The workshop was led by the Aboriginal Comedy Allstars and held in The Music Lounge.
Also in 2016, Merrigong facilitated a wonderful hour of sharing songs and stories between Paul Kelly, Feargal Murray, the Ancient Rain team and some of our young local indigenous talent. The teenagers got to share their original songs with Paul Kelly and the team in a joyful song for song exchange. A lot of learning and inspiration that Merrigong are privileged to be able to facilitate. See more photos here
If you have any questions about the workshops, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 02 4224 5947.
