Audio description
Selected performances in our 2014 Season will be audio described for the benefit of patrons with low or no vision. In an audio described performance, actions, expressions and gestures are described by professional describers trained by Vision Australia to bring out the true imagery in a performance. Patrons will hear the description through headsets. Patrons wanting to use the audio description service must specify this to box office staff when booking tickets. The following are Merrigong's Season 2014 audio described performances:

Being amongst the scenery establishes the scene for the participant and allows for a deeper theatrical experience for patrons who are vision impaired or blind.
